History
ALWM founder Rev. Bill Moberly is a Lutheran Pastor who has been teaching the congregational building blocks for effective world missions for nearly twenty years. He learned these principles in the late 1980’s, then honed his skills in imparting them while serving an interdenominational mission mobilization ministry in the early 1990s. With 23 years of experience as a parish pastor in Lutheran churches, he brings a wealth of insight and sensitivity in communicating these principles in a congregational setting. His travels across the US to numerous congregations as Director of East European Mission Network revealed the great need for “awakening lives to world missions”, and the equipping of congregations that was essential to effect lasting change that will impact the nations and upcoming generations. After three years of doing many aspects of “personalizing the Great Commission” as a part of EEMN, ALWM was created by the Board of Directors of EEMN as a separate ministry in January, 2008.
